My name is Lawrence Maclean and I am a born and bred Highlander from Inverness.
I have been taking people from all over the World on Scenic, Historic and Whisky Tours around Scotland for a number of years now.

About our Whisky Tours
Highlander Whisky Tours specialise in taking you to Distilleries in the Highland and Speyside Whisky regions of Scotland and your tour guide will be a Highlander.
Tour famous whisky regions
The Highlands of Scotland which includes both Highland and Speyside whisky regions produce most of Scotlands single malt whisky from more than 60 Distilleries.

No visit to The Highlands would be complete without experiencing and tasting some of the finest Malt Whisky produced anywhere in the World surrounded by some of the finest and most beautiful scenery in Scotland.
Custom itineraries
Highlander Whisky Tours can tailor an itinerary to your liking, whether it is a 1 day tour from Inverness or Speyside to a longer 2 or 3 day tour from Edinburgh or anywhere in Scotland, if you are travelling from Edinburgh to the Highlands or vice versa we can also offer you a Whisky Transfer / Tour where we would stop at a few Distilleries en route.
Example Tour
On one of our typical 1 day tours what we usually recommend is that you do one actual Distillery tour where you are shown around the Distillery and explained the different stages of production by an experienced member of staff and then you get a tutored tasting of the production.
After lunch you would then visit another 3 or 4 Distilleries where you can buy tastings at the bar. Of course it is your choice and you can choose to do more Distillery Tours if you wish.
