History
The distillery was built by hand in 1886 by William Grant and his nine children, with the very first drops of spirit flowing from the stills on Christmas Day in 1887.

The Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is the flagship expression of the brand, meticulously matured in American oak and European oak sherry casks before being mellowed in oak marrying tuns.
Tasting Notes
The nose is distinctively fresh and fruity with a hint of pear, while the palate offers characteristic sweet notes of butterscotch and cream that lead into a long, smooth, and mellow finish.
