Benromach is a traditional Speyside distillery that prides itself on producing a classic, pre-1960s style of whisky characterised by a subtle touch of peat smoke.
History
Founded in 1898, the distillery faced several periods of closure before being rescued and extensively restored in 1993 by the renowned independent bottlers Gordon & MacPhail.
Signature Whisky
The Benromach 10 Year Old is the flagship expression of the distillery, handcrafted using the finest natural ingredients to deliver a beautifully balanced and lightly peated profile.
Tasting Notes
The nose offers sweet green apple and pear followed by rich honey and a gentle hint of smoke, while the palate brings together creamy malt and forest fruits with a touch of black pepper on the finish.
