History
Founded in 1897 by John Hopkins to coincide with Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee, the distillery was designed by the renowned architect Charles Doig and famously began production in a snowstorm to ensure its first vintage was dated 1897.

Tasting Notes
The nose offers a fresh and clean bouquet of green apples, floral notes, and a hint of lemon, while the palate is medium-bodied with a delicate balance of butterscotch, sweet malt, and a long, smooth finish with a touch of peat smoke.
