Dalmore

Distillery

The Dalmore is a world-renowned Highland distillery recognised for its iconic silver stag emblem and its production of some of the most luxurious and highly valued single malts in existence.

History

The distillery was founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson and was later operated by the Mackenzie clan, who famously brought the twelve-pointed Royal Stag to the brand as a symbol of their ancestor saving King Alexander III.

Signature Whisky

The Dalmore 12 Year Old is a masterpiece of maturation, spending its first nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before a portion is transferred to rare Matusalem Oloroso sherry butts.
