The Glendronach is a distinguished Highland distillery world-renowned for its mastery of sherry cask maturation and its commitment to producing deep, richly pigmented single malts.

 

History

Founded in 1826 by James Allardice, the distillery was one of the first to be licensed under the Excise Act and has spent nearly two centuries perfecting the art of aging spirit in the finest Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

Signature Whisky

The Glendronach 12 Year Old is the cornerstone of the range, an award-winning Highland malt that is matured for at least twelve years in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

Tasting Notes

The nose is sweet and creamy with hints of autumn fruits and vanilla, while the palate is smooth and silky with flavours of warm oak, sherry sweetness, and raisins that lead into a long, full, and firm finish.
